Among the ruins of a forgotten coastal world, Marcus is drawn to a chest that should never be opened. His older brother, Lukas, knows why. The warning pulls the story ten years into the past, to an age when gods still cast their presence over the world. There, Aureon, the god of sun and fire, becomes part of a chain of events that turns myth into catastrophe as the first signs of an invasion begin to descend. What happened in that lost age is tied to the chest Marcus now stands before. THE LAST GOD: Part I opens a larger story of brothers, forbidden power, ancient gods, and a war whose shadow reaches across time.
