The Legend of Thondaria
Film
From a secret 1930s pulp debut to 1980s neon animation and beyond, Thondaria has been many things: a jungle queen, a space explorer, and a gothic rebel. This documentary explores the hidden history of the "Valkyrie of Brazil," the women who wrote her into existence under pen names, and the fans who kept her legend alive across a century of changing media and cultural shifts.
