Through Her Eyes

Art

Through Her Eyes is a short visual art piece centered on Lolly, an original character from the HopScotch universe. The film explores the contrast between the world as it exists and the world as it can be perceived. Around the outer edges of Lolly’s eye, the reflected world feels fractured, dark, and damaged. As the camera moves deeper into the iris, that darkness gradually transforms into a luminous dreamscape filled with color, light, movement, music, and possibility. The tear remains important—it represents the idea that optimism does not come from ignoring pain, but from continuing to find beauty and hope alongside it. The piece was created as a human-directed AI art experiment, with the concept, symbolism, visual progression, character design, and emotional intent developed specifically for the work. Generative AI was used as a production medium to turn a single image into a cinematic journey through perception, imagination, and emotional resilience.
