Amidst a crashing thunderstorm, a nervous woman meets a contact in a grand, silent library. He hands her a brass key to Room 404, warning her to take the back way as "they" have already arrived. As she slips away into the stacks, the man remains behind, masking her exit with a polite apology to the startled onlookers who witnessed his sudden arrival.
