Malignant / Catatonic
Film
Through a rapid-fire montage of war, surreal horror, and quiet desperation, a cynical narrator deconstructs the language of suffering. From burning forests to nuclear blasts, the film explores the perfectly good words we use to describe the inexcusable, challenging the viewer to find meaning in a world defined by its own malignancy. It is a non-linear visual essay that forces a confrontation with the darker side of the human condition.
