Small Town Noir: Satanic Panic
Film
In 1923, a strange lizard marks the beginning of a dark legacy for Frank Costal. Decades later, Frank's life as a carnival performer and self-proclaimed 'High Priest of Satan' in a small Pennsylvania town makes him the perfect scapegoat for a horrific double homicide. As the 1981 trial descends into religious hysteria and 'Satanic Panic,' the line between Frank's theatrical occultism and cold-blooded murder blurs forever.
