Roger wanders through a desolate, rain-soaked mountain pass, losing his way. He is stalked by a mysterious hooded figure amidst eerie stone carvings that look disturbingly human. After seeking refuge in a derelict cottage, he faces the ancient Hag of the Mist, whose gaze turns flesh to stone. Years later, a family drives past his frozen remains, dismissing the legend as a mere story, unaware of the danger lurking in the fog.
