Vessel of the Mind

Film

Through a series of striking monochromatic vignettes, a woman's head is transformed into a diverse marine habitat. As fish, turtles, and octopuses inhabit the glass vessel surrounding her face, the boundaries between her internal thoughts and the external world dissolve. This experimental short film uses surreal imagery to meditate on the fluid nature of the self and the ecosystems we carry within.
