Spell Films

I’m Billy Senel, founder and director of Spell Films, a Melbourne-based AI-first film and animation studio. I combine emerging AI tools with cinematic direction, design and storytelling to create original animated worlds, short films, music visuals and brand campaigns. My work spans stylised 2D animation and photoreal cinematic imagery, with a focus on ambitious ideas that would traditionally demand much larger budgets, teams and production timelines. Through Spell Films, I collaborate with brands, musicians and creators worldwide to bring distinctive new stories to the screen.
