Wonder Studios is a London-based, AI-native film and content studio born out of community. Through its agency arm, it works with award-winning brands and artists on commercials, music videos and branded content. Alongside this sits an original IP business, including the anthology Beyond the Loop and upcoming long-form projects, and a rapidly growing co-production slate. Its global community of AI-native filmmakers and technologists on the Wonder App now counts more than 2,500 active members across 71 countries. Founded in 2025 by award-winning filmmaker Justin Hackney and marketplace entrepreneur Xavier Collins, Wonder was built on a single conviction: as production costs collapse and distribution fragments, filmmakers are becoming founders and the next era of entertainment belongs to them. Wonder has raised over $15 million, with investors including Atomico, LocalGlobe, Blackbird and Adobe Ventures, with angel investment from individuals across ElevenLabs, OpenAI, Google DeepMind and the wider entertainment and technology industry. The company is also supported by senior advisors spanning film, marketing and studio-building, including Danny Perkins (Founder & CEO, Elysian Film Group; former CEO of Studiocanal UK), Sophie Watts (Founding President of STX Entertainment), Jackie Lee-Joe (former CMO of Netflix and BBC Studios) and Patrick Milling-Smith (Co-founder and CEO of SMUGGLER), who work closely with Wonder’s leadership across creative, commercial and audience strategy.
